What does NSF certification mean to you?

NSF Certification is an assurance of quality, performance, and integrity. It states that:

- The system meets the contaminant reduction claims of the manufacturer

- The system is not adding anything harmful to the water

- The system is structurally sound

Advertising, literature, and labeling are not misleading

- The materials and manufacturing process do not change

Benefits of an NSF Certified Water Filter

Confidence in Your Water -  When you order a Multipure NSF-certified water filter, you know you're  getting a product that has gone through rigorous third-party testing to  ensure you are getting what is advertised. When we say that our  NSF-certified water filtration systems will effectively filter your  water, you can believe it.

Protect Yourself, Your Family, and Your Pets - Everyone in your household can enjoy the benefits of an NSF-certified  water filter from Multipure. You can have the peace of mind of knowing  your family, your friends, and your pets can enjoy and benefit from  proper hydration with better quality water.

A Better Alternative to Water Bottles - Expensive bottled water does not necessarily meet NSF- certification  standards - and especially to the extent of Multipure's extreme  performance and standards. Multipure's NSF-certified drinking water systems are better for the environment than wasteful plastic bottles, and better for your pocket with a much more affordable cost.

The NSF Difference

From extensive product testing and material analyses  to unannounced plant inspections, NSF undertakes a complete evaluation  of every aspect of a product's development before it can earn  certification. NSF certification is not a one-time activity - NSF  requires regular on-site inspections of manufacturing facilities, as  well as periodic retesting of products against the most current national  standards. For the consumer, this allows NSF certified products to be  purchased and used with confidence.

Some companies tout their products as "tested  according to NSF standards" or "meets NSF testing requirements," but  unless they have been officially NSF certified, such claims are not a  guarantee of quality. Manufacturer-driven testing, even to NSF's  standards, does not equate to the continual process of inspection and  testing that comes with NSF certification. NSF assures quality and  integrity because NSF does not let the manufacturer affect the testing  process, and NSF does not stop the testing and evaluation process.  Multipure products are NSF-certified to demonstrate the quality and  integrity of their performance.
